Here at Querencia Kennels, we believe that your dog should be safe, comfortable, and cared for. By booking with us, you can experience the peace of mind knowing that your dog is having the time of their life.
All dogs are allowed to roam free in our fenced-in area, with lots of space and beautiful scenic landscapes. Each day we have a romp and play time, where all dogs can play and interact with each other. If by special request, we can focus on your dog in a separate setting.

Your dog is welcome to spend the night here at Querencia Kennels and enjoy our relaxing location.
Your dog can check out by 11:00 AM the next day, maximizing their time to have fun and relax.

We manage our canine guests to ensure they have a safe and stress-free visit. Please advise us if your dog has issues that we may be able to mitigate during their stay.
We do not require a trial visit before a boarding stay.
If, after meeting you and your dog, we feel we cannot properly manage your dog, we will tell you. There is no charge for this evaluation.
We never had to call an owner to return for their dog because we couldn’t manage them.

Separation Anxiety

Your dog will feel safe and secure inside our large, fenced exercise area. Where appropriate, they will join other dogs in a supervised romp and play. At your request or at Joe’s discretion, your dog may be treated individually.

We do our best to ensure that each dog visiting Querencia has a positive, stress-free stay. Many of our canine guests suffer from separation anxiety or have trouble adjusting to the kennel environment. We use long individual on-lead walks or house visits to mitigate their stress and fear. We don’t allow bullying or intimidation. Small dogs, older dogs, infirm dogs are all treated kindly and with respect.

​Each dog is fed twice a day, using the food that we provide at no extra charge. We provide Pro Plan kennel food, but you can provide a specific food if you prefer to keep them on your diet. No extra charge for special foods or medications.

Each day, dogs are allowed to play and rest while following a consistent schedule. Following a daily pattern can help some dogs avoid any separation issues or anxieties.

Each dog sleeps in an individual 4ft by 6ft kennel with an igloo doghouse. These come with plenty of shade and water, and some with wire tops for the escape artists.​​​​
